Beechtree Reconstruction

Planning for the 2010 Beechtree Reconstruciton Project continues. We hope to be ready to go in April, but there remains significant engineering, bidding and communication work ahead. This BLOG is part of the Communication function.

Check out the link below for detour and phasing information. We will maintain local traffic throughout the project, but through traffic will be prohibited from April 19 until mid-October.

The first (northern) phase, from Fulton south to Washington, will take about seven weeks. From Washington to Slayton will take ten weeks and then from Slayton to Waverly will take the last ten weeks. This is a long project window because it is a huge project - EVERYTHING goes (sewer, water, street, sidewalk, streetlights) and EVERYTHING will be replaced.
